WriteMyLife - Signature Package is our basic, all encompassing, trip down memory lane, guided writing experience. Writing prompt questions can be delivered to your email inbox or letter box. Includes one personalised WriteMyLife hardcover book delivered at the end of publishing.

Package includes six basic life story questionnaires covering birth, childhood, graduation, love, career, family, hobbies and more. Tailorable writing prompt questions delivered straight to your inbox weekly (6 weeks), or in an Author's Kit delivered to your letter box, to get you inspired, get the memories flowing and help you immortalise your life story. Can be bought for yourself or given as a gift experience for someone else (see our Shop or Gift Cards for gift purchases).
After we receive your life story chapters WriteMyLife will compile, proof and publish your very own personalised keepsake life storybook.

Standard book included in package - one 15.5cm x 23.5cm portrait, hardcover, 75-105gsm paper (uncoated), case bound, up to 60 pages. (You can upgrade to our larger book size of 21cm x 26.5cm if preferred.)
Want to write in more depth and detail? No problem… Books can accommodate up to 120 pages. (We will contact you with a customised quote for your additional pages, to approve. Charged after publishing, prior to print.)

By purchasing, receiving, or using our products, you agree that:

• You will not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the product for commercial purposes.

• These works are protected under Australian copyright law and remain the intellectual property of [Your Business Name], except where explicitly stated.

• Any commercial use—including but not limited to retail sale, reproduction, or adaptation—is strictly prohibited without prior written permission.

Your happiness with our service and products is very important to us.

If for any reason you are not thrilled with your WriteMyLife purchase, we offer package refunds within 30 days, as long as no books have been printed.
Posted packages will be refunded minus the cost of the received Author’s kit. (Author’s Kit prices may vary per package.)
Printed books cannot be returned or exchanged.

If you have received a faulty (miss bound or misprinted) or damaged item/s please email our customer service team on the following email address: writemylife@write4fun.net.

To ensure quality and so that we can inspect the defective order, we may ask that you provide a few photographs illustrating the defect, prior to receiving a replacement.

Should a refund be granted, book purchases will be refunded minus any postage and handling costs.

Monies will be refunded to the same account of original order.

For some issues we may arrange for your order to be remade at no further charge.

Postage and handling costs are included in the package price. (Australia wide only.)
Books are shipped approximately 5 weeks after all transcripts are received from author. Standard shipping estimates for delivery are between 4-14 days.

WML uses reputable and reliable delivery agents for all deliveries of orders and reserves the right to change its nominated delivery agent at any time without prior notice to you.

All orders are professionally handled and packed in dedicated packaging to avoid any damage during delivery. WML is not liable for any loss or damage during delivery.

WML will use its best endeavours to ensure that all Orders are delivered to the delivery address supplied by you within the Estimated Delivery Time. However, you acknowledge that delivery and manufacturing times may vary during peak and holiday seasons and may also vary depending on the size and quantity of the goods included in your order.

You acknowledge and agree that:
(a) the Estimated Delivery Time is an estimate only and is not an essential term of these Terms & Conditions;
(b) any delay in the delivery of an Order does not entitle you to cancel the Order or to a refund of your payment for the Order;
(c) WML is not liable for any delay in delivery, including delay caused by harmful components in the content provided by you, delayed payment by you, an incorrect address supplied by you or any other delays resulting from an event of Force Majeure;
(d) an ‘Authority to Leave’ sticker MAY be placed on the parcel allowing the parcel to be left at your provided address without a signature.

Publishing Services Policy

Welcome to WriteMyLife. We provide guided publishing services for personal and family autobiographies, memoirs, and other legacy books. Our services include editing, proofreading, typesetting, cover design, and print-on-demand (POD) production for private keepsake use.

This policy explains how we handle copyright, licensing, and publishing arrangements when you work with us.

1. Ownership of Your Story

• You, the Author, keep full copyright ownership of your manuscript and story unless you choose to sign a separate agreement to assign copyright.
• We only take the rights we need to prepare, design, and produce your legacy book.

2. Licence You Grant Us

By engaging our services, you give us a limited licence to:

• Edit, proof, typeset, and design your book.
• Prepare print-ready and digital files for your project.
• Arrange POD printing and supply the copies you have ordered.

This licence is non-exclusive and limited to your project. We will not sell, retail, or commercially distribute your story without your written permission.

3. Moral Rights and Editing

Australian law recognises your moral rights as the author. This means you have the right to be identified as the author and to protect your work from derogatory treatment.

• By using our services, you give consent for us to make the minor edits, design adjustments, and formatting changes necessary for publication.
• You will always be credited as the author. We also include a discreet “Produced by WriteMyLife” imprint.

4. What We Promise

We will:

• Carry out all services with reasonable skill and professional care.
• Keep your materials confidential and respect your family’s privacy.
• Provide you with proofs for review and obtain your approval before printing.

5. What You Promise

You confirm that:

• The material you provide is your own, or you have permission to use it.
• Nothing you supply infringes copyright, privacy, or other people’s rights.
• You will obtain any necessary consents for photos, letters, or documents you wish to include.

6. Fees and Additional Costs

• Our service fees are set out in your package agreement.
• Printing costs, postage, and any additional requests (extra copies, image licensing, or design changes after approval) may be charged separately.
• Payment schedules will be confirmed in an invoice or service agreement.

7. Copies and Files

• We will supply the number of printed copies and a digital file (if included in your package).
• You may order additional copies at cost.
• We may securely retain a production file for reprinting if you wish, but we will not use it for any other purpose.

8. Termination

If either you or we cannot meet our obligations, either party may end the publishing process by written notice. Any services already completed or costs already incurred will be payable.

9. Governing Law

This policy and our services are provided under Australian law.
