We only collect information directly from you, for instance, when you enter your details online, when you mail orders and stories or over the phone when further information is required.

Your information may be used to:

• Identify you and assist you in accessing and utilising our website.

• Administer packages and to compile publications.

• Communicate with you, regarding orders and upcoming publications.

• Inform you of news. This will only be sent to you by email if you have joined as a member of writemylife.au and there is an opt-out mechanism should you not wish to receive this information.

Personal information collected from our website

Information collected over the website may include your name, current address, year of birth, telephone number, email address, credit card details, username and password. We also collect details of stories and memorabilia currently or previously submitted to WriteMyLife. If you choose not to provide personal information, we may not be able to provide you with the services or products you require.

Disclosure of personal information

We may disclose your personal information to organisations outside WriteMyLife for the following reasons:

• For mailing of products i.e. fulfillment houses who package and label the products.

• For data entry of work.

• Other companies that work for us where required.

Please note: WriteMyLife does not sell customer information to outside parties.

Accuracy of the information

WriteMyLife aims to ensure accuracy of customer information. However, the accuracy of the information we hold depends to a large extent on the information you provide. We recommend that you let us know if there are any errors in your personal information and advise us of changes to your personal information.

Your happiness with our service and products is very important to us.

If for any reason you are not thrilled with your WriteMyLife purchase, we offer package refunds within 30 days, as long as no books have been printed. Posted packages will be refunded minus the cost of the received Author’s Kit. (Author’s Kit prices vary per package.)
Printed books cannot be returned or exchanged.

If you have received a faulty (miss bound or misprinted) or damaged item/s please email our customer service team on the following email address: writemylife@write4fun.net.

To ensure quality and so that we can inspect the defective order, we may ask that you provide a few photographs illustrating the defect, prior to receiving a replacement.

Should a refund be granted, book purchases will be refunded minus postage and handling costs.

Monies will be refunded to the same account of original order.

For some issues we may arrange for your order to be remade at no further charge.
